Aluminium Window Replacement

I’m a really bad sleeper. I always have been, and I always will be. I haven’t been able to sleep properly in years and it has impacted my life in a very negative way. The only thing I have ever found that helps me sleep at night is to be directly under a window with the breeze flowing through onto my face. I still don’t sleep well, mind you, but I do sleep better than if I was in a room without free flowing air.

I didn’t know that an open window helped me sleep until my window broke and I couldn’t close it. I had always slept with it closed and when it broke I was unable to shut it. I had to sleep with it open for a week before I was able to book in with an aluminium window replacement service. Melbourne is very cold in winter, so I spent the first couple of nights shivering before I fell asleep, only to sleep deeper than I had in years. Once the window was fixed at the end of the week, I decided to sleep with it open indefinitely. I haven’t closed it since.

Sleeping with the window open has helped a lot, but I still have a long way to go. I don’t think I’ve slept longer than five hours since I was a child, so there’s obviously something wrong.

Maybe if I got a door replacement for my bedroom door I’d be able to sleep better. I know that sounds crazy, but I didn’t think a broken window would help me sleep either, so it’s not the wackiest idea. Maybe there’s some type of insulated door that has proven results to improve sleep or something. I mean it’s possible, right? It seems like anything is possible these days.

I hope that one day I’m able to sleep eight hours and wake up feeling refreshed. My new windows have improved my life significantly, but I still have a long way to go.
