Expensive Car Service

Two days on from finding my girlfriend with another man and I have not yet recovered. The last time I saw her was in my rearview mirror as I was speeding as far away from the scene of the crime as possible. She had her hazards on and was pulled over to the side of the road and I didn’t help her. Instead, I drove far away and sold the engagement ring at a pawn shop. I haven’t been back to our house since, and I don’t plan on going back any time soon.

Her family have been calling me non stop to tell me that it was a misunderstanding. Her brother, who became a good friend of mine over the last ten years said that he was really worried about his sister. Apparently, when her car broke down she broke down with it, and was crying the entire time she was getting a wheel alignment service. He said she’s been crying non stop ever since I caught her and only wants to reconcile with me. I told him I was never going to talk to her again but I wouldn’t mind being friends with him if he was keen.

I’ll admit though, I was pretty mad when her brother called me and told me how upset she had been during her emergency car service. Adelaide isn’t a big place so that means everyone’s going to know about the drama my ex-girlfriend and I are going through. As if she hasn’t made this hard enough for me already.

I’m truly devastated by the whole situation. But, as I said in my blog post two days ago, you win some and you lose some. I lost this round, but I may have also won because why would I want to MARRY someone who would do that to me. I’m glad she showed me her true colours before I asked her to marry me. I hope her emergency car service was expensive.
