I’m sick of always needing my car serviced! It seems like every month I have to get some sort of niggle serviced or repaired only to go back again for something else. It’s some kind of sick joke and it’s gone on long enough. I will be finding a new car mechanic close to Northcote because my current one clearly doesn’t do a good enough job.
I’m in the Northcote area and I’m looking for recommendations. Ideally, I’d like a mechanic who is trustworthy and up front about what is wrong with my car and what will need fixing. I want a mechanic who properly diagnoses issues with my car and gets to them in advance, so that I don’t have to waste multiple hours a month at the mechanic. Not only does it cost insane amounts of money, but it also takes up so much of my time. I’d rather give my car up for a couple of days than have to take it in for a full day every month.
Like as an example, just in case you’re not following. Just say something happens to my car and I need a transmission service. Northcote mechanics should be able to fix the problem with no worries and put measures in place to make sure that it doesn’t happen again, at least in the near future. My old mechanic either wouldn’t know how to do that or wouldn’t want to, and it’s just infuriating.

I’m sure to get the best service possible as they have a fantastic reputation. I’ve heard good things from a lot of you, and it makes sense to go to the mechanic that is closest to me, rather than one that is a thirty minute drive like I used to go to.
